Tampa Police Detectives Want to Identify Carjacking Suspect

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-On March 6, at 10:45 a.m., an unknown black male convinced the victim to give him a ride from the Huracan Supermarket located at 402 Sligh Avenue East to an alley near the Coastal Gas Station located at 3115 Nebraska Avenue North where he took the keys from the ignition.  

The suspect took the victim's wallet and cell phone then ordered her out of the vehicle.  The suspect then  drove off  with the victim's vehicle,  which was later recovered.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect involved in this case.  

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).   Crime Stoppers must be contacted first in order to be eligible for a cash reward.
