Massive Gator Found In Popular Springs

SILVER GLEN SPRINGS, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Pulling a large alligator from the waters of Central Florida normally isn't something to get excited about.

Unless it's a 13-foot gator swimming in a popular recreation area.

Marion County Sheriff's deputies took photos of the montrous reptile as it was pulled from the water at Silver Glen Springs Recreation area near U.S. 19.

Several trappers were brought in to help haul the gator out.
