Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Tampa Fire Investigators blame discarded smoking materials as the cause of a three alarm fire that caused over $700,000 in damage to a building at an apartment complex on North McKinley Drive.
According to investigators, the fire started on the balcony of a second floor unit at the Province Apartments, causing smoke and fire to sweep through the building.
One firefighter was injured from falling debris he's expected to recover. All of the residents were safely evacuated. The fire is considered accidental.
