Two Year Old Dies After Being Left In Car For Hours

Brandon, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A two-year-old Brandon boy is dead after being left in a car alone for five hours.

The Hillsborough Sheriff's Office tells Newsradio 970 WFLA, the boy's 21-year-old half sister Fiorella Silva-Tello left the child around 9:30 AM to go to work at the BFF Kidz Child Care Center on West Lumsden Road at the Oak Park Shopping Center.

It wasn't until 2:30PM when Silva-Tello came back to her car and found little Jacob Manchego unconscious.

She picked up the child and took him back inside the shopping center to administer first aid. Hillsborough County Fire And Rescue took the child to the hospital,  but the boy died  at Brandon Regional Hospital.

No charges have been filed yet against Silva-Tello,  pending the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office investigation.
