Lealman, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Detectives assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit are asking for your help identifying the suspect who stole $1,809 worth of merchandise from the Opti-Mart, at 4539 35th Street North.
The theft happened around 4 p.m. on January 23, when according to detectives, the suspect entered the store, picked up a display case containing 10 pairs of Costa Del Mar sunglasses, and walked out of the front door.
Once outside the store, the suspect entered the passenger side of a small 4-door sedan, dark in color, unknown make and model, and left the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, with a dark short afro hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white tee shirt, dark colored pants and athletic shoes.
