Gibsonton, Fla.(970 WFLA)- - Afternoon RV fire temporarily shuts down I-75 NB lanes
At approximately 2:30 PM HCFR 911 received a call about an RV fire on I-75 NB at Exit 250 (Gibsonton Dr.) When crews first arrived on scene they encountered a fully involved 2017 Winnebago RV that was pulling a Honda Element SUV.
The lanes of I-75 NB were briefly shut down while firefighters extinguished the fire. There were 2 occupants and a dog inside the RV at the time of the fire. Everyone was able to escape the RV without injuries.
