Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- On February 25, 2017 at 4:52 a.m., an unknown suspect made forced entry into the Walgreens located at 5709 Gunn Hwy.
Once inside, the suspect crawled to the cash register area and obtained multiple Newport cigarette cartons and Marlboro packs. The suspect then left riding a bicycle eastbound towards Lynn Rd.
The same suspect also attempted to make forced entry into the Walgreens located at 6503 W Waters Ave. at 3:53 a.m. and the Citgo located at 6318 W Linebaugh Ave. at 4:16 a.m.. No entry was made and no property was taken at those locations.
The suspect is male, last seen wearing blue jeans, a light red long-sleeved shirt, black sneakers, a blue towel or shirt covering his face, black gloves and a black kit cap.
His getaway bicycle has a light, and is possibly a hybrid style road/mountain bike.
Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
