Ruskin, Fla. (970 WFLA)- The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for 35 year old Jorge Soria. He's the suspect who on December 31st of 2016, was driving south on U.S. 41 in Ruskin, just south of State Road 694, when he hit 13 year old Cameron Fuller. Cameron was on a bicycle attempting to cross U.S 41, inside the crosswalk.
Soria left the scene, his 2002 Chevrolet Suburban was found a few days later at the home of Maria Herrera-Soria at 2629 39th Ave SE in Ruskin.
Soria currently remains at large with the assistance of friends and family who are aware of his involvement in the hit and run crash as well as being wanted for felony driver license charges from Manatee County.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jorge Soria is asked to immediately contact the FHP by calling *347, local law enforcement or crime stoppers at 800-873-TIPS.
