Ruskin, Fla.(970 WFLA)-The Highway Patrol says a car on 27th Avenue in Ruskin crossed through the intersection at State Road 674 last night around 8:00, striking a van with two women and five children inside.
Three year old Jacob Bustos was killed, everyone else in the van went to Tampa General.
The driver of the car, 38 year old John Rutland of Ruskin is in jail facing a DUI manslaughter charge. His blood alcohol level came in at point 1-2-5, according to deputies.
