Epstein Cell Video Inconsistencies: A Missing Minute and A Different Door?

On Monday, the FBI released a memo stating that Jeffrey Epstein took his own life in prison and that after years of speculation, there is no "client list." The FBI also released the security footage from outside his cell that night in an effort to prove that nobody entered the cell.

But... According to the New York Times, and many on X, there is a minute missing.

“The video released by Ms. Bondi and Mr. Patel, however, appears to be missing a minute just before midnight. The digital clock on the screen jumps from 11:58:58 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Officials did not immediately have an explanation for the apparent gap.”

The other question is... The cell door. A 60 Minutes episode about Epstein's death revealed an image of his cell door with yellow crime scene tape over it. CNN published the image in early 2020.

It looks nothing like the door in the video released by the FBI. This has sparked questions and conspiracy theories on social media, but the footage released by the FBI is of the stairway leading to his cell door on the floor below. There is no security camera right outside his cell.

So the timing issue is a legitimate question. The door discrepancy can be explained.
