Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's purse was stolen at a restaurant in Washington D.C. on Sunday night. The purse contained $3,000 in cash, personal documents including her passport, keys, driver's license, and a DHS badge. The thief was described as a White man wearing a mask. Noem was in town with her family, using the cash to treat them to dinner, activities, and Easter gifts.

Noem is protected by the Secret Service, but the agency referred questions to the Department of Homeland Security.
