WESLEY CHAPEL -- A crash involving a gravel truck has caused delays for drivers from I-75 and west Pasco trying to reach Zephyrhills.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a truck has spilled 40 tons of gravel after a collision with an SUV Monday morning. Both drivers, a 59-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman, have been taken to hospitals with minor injuries. Cleanup crews are on the scene. As of 1:00 p.m. one eastbound lane is being allowed for traffic. SR/CR 54 is a possible alternate for eastbound drivers.
