VIDEO: Texas House Committee Pranked with Vulgar Public Comment Names

A few weeks ago we shared video of inappropriate names being read into the record during a Florida House committee meeting.

It happened again, this time in Texas.

During a public comment period for several pieces of legislation, the Texas House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence received a prank with several “suggestive” fake names signed up for public comment.

The Chair, Rep. Jeff Leach, read out some of the names, including Connie Lingus, Anita Dickenmee, and Holden Middick, drawing laughter from other legislators and members of the public in the room.

Leach acknowledged that the prank would be on YouTube and eventually realized he had been pranked.
