(Calabasas, CA) -- Lisa Marie Presley will be laid to rest at Graceland. The daughter of Elvis Presley died Thursday at age 54. A representative says she'll be buried at Presley's mansion in Memphis next to her son Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020.
New details about the tragic death of Lisa Marie Presley are coming to light. Lisa Marie, who was the only child of Elvis Presley, died on Thursday after suffering sudden cardiac arrest in her California home. TMZ reports Presley was already brain-dead when she was admitted to the hospital Thursday afternoon, and was put into an induced coma shortly after. Sources now say Presley's heart actually stopped twice in the hospital, but due to her condition her family had already signed a DNR and ordered doctors not to resuscitate her.
Presley was known for her own music career, which spanned three studio albums, as well as her brief marriages to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.
Presley's last public appearance was at Tuesday's Golden Globes Awards, where Austin Butler took home Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis. The studio behind the movie "Elvis" says they're "deeply saddened" by her death. Warner Brothers released a statement calling her "an invaluable partner and truly lovely person."
