LARGO -- Pinellas County detectives arrest an Oldsmar man they say was trafficking a 16-year-old girl for sex.
They found the missing teen at a hotel on Ulmerton Road in Largo Thursday, and discovered the suspect, 27-year-old Xavier Vanellison, hiding in a closet.
The Pinellas sheriff says the victim had been missing since March, and had been trafficked on escort websites with explicit photos. Vanellison faces several charges, including child pornography for posting the pictures, as well as charges related to sex with a minor and promoting the sexual performance of a child.
