Two Miami Middle Schoolers Awarded For Thwarting School Threat

Two Rockway Middle Schoolers being honored with a "Do The Right Thing" award for reporting a classmate who was threatening to hurt the Principal and blow the school up with a bomb. Miami Police Spokeswoman Kiara Delva says Leah Varela and Tania Sainz are a perfect example of why the "see something, say something" campaign works so well. The two will receive a bunch of prizes including gift cards, free Miami Marlins tickets, passes to local attractions like Zoo Miami and congratulation letters from Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio.
