Verified Ways To Help Hurricane Ian Victims

With several Hurricane Ian donation scams beginning to circulate, we decided to provide a list of verified and safe ways to help donate and give back to those impacted by the catastrophic storm.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross is accepting donations to help Hurricane Ian victims RedCross.Org/Donate

DONATE BLOOD: The American Red Cross also desperately needs blood donations following the storm. You can find a blood drive in your area by searching your ZIP code on the website or calling 1-800-733-2767. According to the website, if you donate in thtober, you will also receive a $5 digital e-gift card.

Feeding Florida

Feeding Florida is a network of the national food bank nonprofit Feeding America. Their food banks are currently on the ground providing food, water, and resources to those affected. The organization will continue tocoordinatingith food banks across the state to provide food to hurricane victims. FeedingFlorida.Org

Florida Disaster Fund

Florida Disaster Fund is the state's official disaster relief fund that coordinates aid across governmental and nongovernmental organizations in the state. You can help Floridians recover from Hurricane Ian at VolunteerFlorida.Org
