I-75 has reopened. The Myakka River overflowed onto I-75 Friday evening and that forced a closure.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports announced around 4p that mile marker 179 (North Port/Toledo Blade Boulevard) to mile marker 193 (Englewood/Jacaranda Boulevard) is now passable. Water levels had receded enough to reopen both south and north bound lanes.
