School Closings

Pasco County

  • Closed Tuesday - Friday

Manatee County

  • School Open On Monday - Updates will come for the rest of the week. Follow @ManateeSchools on Twitter.

Pinellas County

  • To prepare for shelters, the following schools will close at 12:312:30 PMMonday: Palm Harbor University High School, Dunedin Highland Middle School, and John Hopkins Middle School. All other schools will be open at regular hours on Monday. All schools in Pinellas County will be closed Tuesday through Wednesday and are tentatively set to reopen on Thursday.
  • Classes at ALL St. Petersburg College campuses will be closed on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Hillsborough County

  • Closed Monday-Thursday. This includes USF

Hernando & Polk County

  • Schools in both counties will be open as usual on Monday. Decisions will be made later in the day on potential closings for the rest of the week.

Evacuation Orders

  • Hillsborough County is ordering a mandatory evacuation for residents on Zone A and is recommending a voluntary evacuation for Zone B.
  • Pinellas County has issued a mandatory evacuation order for Zone A beginning at 6 p.m. Residents living in Zones B and C will have the same order go into effect on Tuesday at 7 a.m.
  • Pasco County announced evacuations in zones A, B and C, which includes everyone west of U.S. 19 and some neighborhoods to the east. Read more here.
  • MacDill Air Force Base’s commander, Col. Adam Bingham, issued an installation-wide mandatory evacuation to be completed by Tuesday at noon for non-mission essential individuals.
  • Hernando County - Voluntary Evacuations have been issued for all areas west of US 19, which includes evacuation zones A, B, and C. All residents living in coastal and low-lying areas, as well as manufactured homes county wide, are included.
