Broward County, FL - Authorities are looking for a suspect who placed a cellphone under a woman's dress and took photos inside a South Florida Walmart.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office is searching for 30-year-old Ciano Brown after Brown was captured on surveillance video placing his cellphone under a woman's dress and taking pictures at a North Fort Lauderdale Walmart on September 9th.
BSO spokesperson Gerdy St. Louis tells WSVN News "surveillance video of the incident shows Brown slowly approaching a woman. He’s then seen bending down while the woman is browsing through the cosmetic aisle of the store and reaching under her dress with a device. Detectives believe the device is a cellphone that he is using to videotape or take pictures of her undergarments.”
The woman appeared to be completely unaware Brown was filming her.
Miami-Dade police say Brown has been arrested in Miami-Dade County for the same act.
St. Louis tells WSVN News "according to detectives, a warrant has been issued for Brown’s arrest for one count of video voyeurism. We understand that this is a sickening act, and we really are hoping that the public can help us locate this individual.”
Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes Brown or has information on his whereabouts to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
