A 90's rapper whose made Palm Beach County his home for many years is working on transforming a historic building in Lake Worth Beach into a pop-culture museum and brewery.
Robert Van Winkle, better known as Vanilla Ice, is showing off his latest renovation project on social media.
"This just in...there's a situation! The Ice Man is back at it like a jack rabbit. What are we doing? This is the 1922 Masonic building here in Lake Worth. You can see behind me, it's all a mess. But we're about to be like ants on a candy bar in this. We're gonna get it done in six months."
He showed off the three-story building on Lake Avenue and explained that he wants to build a speakeasy and rooftop bar, along with the museum and brewery.
Van Winkle, who calls the Village of Wellington home, hosts the DIY Network's "The Vanilla Ice Project."
