A Sunrise police sergeant is arrested on a battery on a police officer charge. Christopher Pullease has been booked into the Broward Main Jail following an incident where he's caught on camera grabbing a female colleague by the throat and pushing her against a patrol car.
The incident stemmed from an arrest where Pullease was yelling profanities at a suspect in the back of a patrol car. He was captured on bodycam grabbing a female officer by the throat and pushing her against the police cruiser when she tried to intervene, pulling the sergeant back by his belt.
Pullease was placed on paid administrative leave in January while the incident was investigated. He's now been arrested on several charges.
