The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is honoring its 17 deputies who have been killed in the line of duty during National Police Week.
The agency held its annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Ceremony on Thursday, outside PBSO headquarters in suburban West Palm Beach.
Major Ron Mattino was the Master of Ceremonies.
"This morning we honor and we'll never forget the 17 names on this memorial. They are forever bound together by an unbreakable bond of valor."
A single white rose was placed in front of the photos of each of the fallen deputies as their names were announced.
