MARCO ISLAND, FL - A former youth pastor has been arrested after he reportedly sent nude photographs of himself to an underage girl.
Marco Island Police arrested Christopher Reyes, a former youth pastor at the Wesley Methodist Church, after an investigation found that Reyes exchanged sexual pictures with an underage victim for three years.
Reyes, 26, would solicit nude photographs of the victim and send her nude photographs of himself.
According to police, Reyes attempted to meet the juvenile on multiple occasions.
Reyes, who was employed by the Wesley Methodist Church from 2016 until 2021, was arrested on charges of transmission of material harmful to minors by electronic device or equipment, and soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct using computer services or devices.
