Florida Woman Finds Love With Man Used in Catfish Photo

One Florida woman went from being in a terrible 'Catfish' situation to finding love with the man whose photo was used to scam her.

The mother of two from Palm Beach had been talking to a man who she believed to be named Marcus through Instagram after he had sent her a direct message. At some point, Hayden, 38, realized that this was too good to be accurate and blocked him.

But Marcus soon surfaced on her Whatsapp account — and threatened to post a photoshopped nude image of her online if she didn't fork over $6,000, according to the New York Post. Hayden told the scammer to do whatever they wanted and went about living her life.

Months later, she saw a familiar face pop up on her Instagram.. and it was the man she had known as Marcus. This time, it was connected to a man named Alessandro Cinquini, who Hayden said seemed to be a real person.

Curious and wanting to tell Cinquini what had happened, she reached out to him only to find out he lived just an hour away from her. The two met in person in January and have been exclusively dating since.
