PBC Runoffs: New Mayor In Jupiter, Riviera Beach Incumbent Wins

Results are in from Tuesday's runoff elections in Palm Beach County:

In Boynton Beach, Thomas Turkin defeats Marit Hedeen with 53 percent of the vote to win the City Commission, District 3 seat.

There were two races in Jupiter including the one for Mayor. Two current council members were facing off with Jim Kuretski taking 56 percent of the vote against Ilan Kaufer.

In Jupiter's Second District race, Malise Sundstrom gets 55 percent of the vote against Linda McDermott.

In Jupiter Inlet Colony, it's Marie Rosner ahead of Cynthia Keim in the race for the Commission, Group 4. Rosner getting 53 percent of the vote.

In Lantana there were two races for the Town Council...

Lynn Moorhouse wins the Group 1 race with 59 percent of the vote over John Raymer.

In the Group 2 race, Kem Mason gets 59 percent of the vote to defeat Media O. Beverly.

In Lake Worth Beach, the runoff for the City Commission District 4 race and Reinaldo Diaz captures 61 percent of the vote against Craig Frost.

The Mayoral race in Riviera Beach is won by the Incumbent. Ronnie Felder gets 60 percent of the vote, defeating Billie Brooks.

Shirley Lanier wins a tight race in the Riviera Beach City Council District 3 race with just 51 percent of the vote over Marvelous Washington.
