The Governor is throwing support for the abortion bill that will ban most pregnancy termination after 15 weeks.
"I think the protections are warranted and I think we'll be able to sign that in short order," said DeSantis.
But similar legislation is already being challenged in the United States Supreme Court, and in a Tweet this morning President Joe Biden calls House Bill 5 "a dangerous bill that will severely restrict women’s access to reproductive health care. My Administration will not stand for the continued erosion of women’s constitutional rights." Vice President Kamala Harris adds, "The right of women to make decisions about their own bodies is non-negotiable."
