Early voting gets underway on Saturday for the special election to fill two open seats in the state Legislature.

In Palm Beach County, voters District 88, can cast ballots in the race for a state representative. On the ballot are Democrat Tae Edmonds and Republican Guarina Torres. They're both vying for the seat vacated by Omari Hardy when he unsuccessfully ran for Congress.

Voters eligible to cast a ballot in one of the 19 municipal elections in Palm Beach County may also vote at any of the four Early Voting locations.

They are the Supervisor of Elections main branch on Military Trail in West Palm Beach, the Wells Recreation Center in Riviera Beach, Ezell Hester Community Center in Boynton Beach or the Delray Beach Community Center. Those sites are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day through March 6th ahead of the March 8th elections.

In Broward County, some residents are early voting in the special election for the state Senate seat formerly held by Perry Thurston, who also resigned to run for Congress.

Early Voting will also be underway for municipal races in four Broward cities.
