Scary video! A toddler was seen on camera wandering off from a Clearwater daycare, walking straight out of the front door, directly into three lanes of traffic.
Chilling video released by the Florida Department of Health shows the toddler walking out the door and into the traffic. This incident could have been tragic had a driver not stopped to help the 2-year-old boy.
The mother of the child, Marissa Addison, told 8 on Your Side that she initially didn't think anything of it when he son's daycare, Here We Grow Learning Center in Clearwater, contacted her to tell her that her son had made it out of the front door. But weeks later, when she found out her young son had made it into the road, which wasn't mentioned in the initial call, she was NOT happy.
Addison then contacted 8 on Your Side to investigate, and the team was able to find through their investigation prior instances at this daycare due to lack of supervision.
