The First Lady is in Florida today.
Dr. Jill Biden will be in Tampa to discuss the Administration's Cancer Moonshot initiative and pushing for people to get cancer screenings they may have missed during the pandemic.
Pamela Burnett with the Beautiful Gate Cancer Support & Resource Center says screenings are key.
Burnett hopes to see more done at the state level with a $4-billion budget surplus.
The Cancer Moonshot initiative looks reduce the cancer death rate by 50-percent over the next 25 years.
Dr. Biden will also be stopping at the US Coast Guard Station in Opa-locka for a private event with military families.
