Of course, it's the final weekend of the Florida State Fair happening at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Experience food, games, rides, concerts, animals, a circus, and so much more while experiencing the fun of the fair! The fair's final day will be February 21st, so it's your last chance to join in on the excitement.
Are you a lover of collard greens? If so, great news for you, there's an entire festival dedicated to it this weekend. The Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival will be happening Saturday from 10 AM - 5 PM at Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum, located at 2240 Ninth Ave. S, St. Petersburg. Of course, you'll be able to dive into a selection of different collard green dishes and inspired dishes at the festival, but it will also be filled with live music, drumming, dancing, and other entertainment. Free to attend.
Art and Seafood on the Waterfront: A collection of incredible art and local seafood will gather on the safety Harbor waterfront park. The event will feature mixed media, paintings, 3-D artwork, photos, and jewelry. Live music will be provided by Stormbringer (Saturday) and Selwyn Birchwood (Sunday). Free. 11 a.m.- 9 p.m on Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday. Water Front Park, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane, Safety Harbor.
Wings, Wheels, and Wine. This upscale event is held in an open-air hangar at Clearwater Airpark. Here, you can dive into food, wine, and music, set among a display of exotic cars, boats, and planes. All proceeds benefit The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation. The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit charity whose mission is to support and empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
