Apparel maker Adidas has turned many heads on social media with their new sports bra ad, showing 25 faceless women's bare breasts.
The company said on Twitter, "We believe women's breasts in all shapes and sizes deserve support and comfort."
This new ad highlights their new women's sports bras, which come in 43 different shapes and sizes, making it easier for ALL women to wear them.
Naturally, the risqué ad generated some serious controversy online, with some people loving it and, of course, others thinking it's incredibly distasteful.
Twitter user @sxvixn posted her support saying 'My wife is one of the women who volunteered to be photographed for this new Adidas campaign. At first I was very uncomfortable with it but my wife & her sisters sat me down & taught me the importance of body positivity & female autonomy. I now understand & support Adidas.'
While another user, @abigaail17 says she thinks it's more posted for shock value, rather than showing how well the product work. She posts saying "I’m all for boobies and positivity but like … what are they selling? Shouldn’t it at least show how their “body positive” bras support all different kinds of boobies? Or is this just another shock ad designed only to generate revenue by using women’s bodies? exhausting"
