A stuntman was taken to the hospital on Saturday after a parachute jump from a Florida hotel took a dangerous turn that sent him crash landing to a park below.
Fort Lauderdale Police and Fire Rescue responded to the Hyatt Centric, located along East Las Olas Boulevard, just before 8 a.m. Saturday.
Cellphone video captured the victim jumping from the top of the 46-story hotel, before the 39-year-old parachutist crash landed in Huizenga Park, 499 feet below.

Paramedics treated the stuntman at the scene before transporting him to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert.
As of Sunday evening, the man was listed in serious but stable condition.
