On Dec. 14th, St Pete Beach City Commissioners passed the "Micromobility Ordinance," which bans electric bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards on the beach AND sidewalks.
It doesn't stop there either. Next month, the commission will also vote to ban regular bikes.
The objective is to keep the residents and visitors safe.
Some locals support this new ban, while others don't think it's right at all.
