A line of cars stretched more than a mile down Jog Road in Delray Beach on Monday, where hundreds of people waited for hours to get a COVID test at the South County Civic Center.
County Commissioner Maria Sachs says county staff is aware of the surging demand for testing, and working on ways to add more sites soon.
County Mayor Robert Weinroth confirms they are working with their current testing site contractors to open two more sites this week in Boynton Beach and in Riviera Beach to alleviate some of the traffic at the current sites.
