Palm Beach County has a new site for monoclonal antibody treatments.

Governor DeSantis in West Palm Beach announced that the new Regeneron treatment site at Westgate Park is among other things, for COVID patients BEFORE symptoms become severe.

"The goal is to get people to just have a swift recovery without needing to go into the hospital. And obviously if you're reducing hospitalizations and hospital admissions, you're going to obviously be saving lives as well."

The site is operating seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The governor making it clear on Wednesday that the Regeneron treatment is free for the patient.

The federal government is paying for the treatments, which would otherwise cost over $1,000.
