The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County says a new COVID vaccination AND testing site is open.
The site, located at the Mid County Senior Care Center at 3680 Lake Worth Road in Palm Springs, is administering services seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The DOH says appointments are not necessary and insurance is not required.
In addition, health officials remind you that both coronavirus vaccination and testing locations are widely available throughout Palm Beach County, including most commercial pharmacies and doctors' offices.
Amid the surge of cases, some county leaders have expressed a desire to reopen those mass testing sites that were operating last summer, but the governor says things were different then, because the tests weren't available in as many places as they are now.
