School Board Votes 7-0 To Open 4 Vaccination Sites For Palm Beach Students

The Palm Beach County School Board has approved a plan to open new vaccine sites specifically for students ages 12 and older.

The unanimous vote to partner with the Health Care District of Palm Beach County means the sites will open sometime this month as mobile units spread out across the county, starting with four and possibly adding more.

School Board members stressed during Wednesday's meeting that the COVID-19 vaccinations for students would be voluntary.

The 4 sites will be located in the parking lots of the following places:

Mary & Robert Pew Center (9482 Mac Arthur Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens)

School District headquarters (3300 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach)

Safe Schools Institute (1790 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton)

West Technical Education Center (2625 NW 16th St, Belle Glade)
