A bit of a let down for folks in the city of Riviera Beach, where a watch party was held Sunday night, in hopes that Palm Beach County native Willie Spence would prevail as the winner of "American Idol."
He wound up the runner-up to ultimate winner of last night's finale Chayce Beckham.
While Willie was born in West Palm Beach and has family still in the area, his hometown visit that featured in last night's show was focused on his current hometown of Douglas, Georgia.

Hillsborough County's Kenzie Wheeler will sing Monday night in the finals of NBC's "The Voice." The show airs at 8 p.m. and the results show airs on Tuesday.
Wheeler, a resident of the town of Dover, near Tampa, says he's really excited, and win or lose, he just wants to give a great performance.
