WATCH: Nova Southeastern University To Require COVID Vaccines

Nova Southeastern University students and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by August 1st, if they're going to participate in what's expected to be full, in-person classroom learning in the fall.

Executive Vice President Dr. Harry Moon notes public school students are required to be vaccinated against certain infectious diseases and says they've already had a positive response to their on-campus vaccination center, which opens Monday. However, he does anticipate lawsuits.

Florida International University will not require vaccines, while the University of Miami's president says more details about fall classes and activities will be released in the coming weeks.
