TAMPA -- Federal agents and local law enforcement are watching for fake NFL merchandise around Tampa during Super Bowl week. Brian Weinhaus is an investigator with the Department of Homeland Security. He says not just the NFL but also retailers ...big and small... get hurt by knockoff T-shirts, rings and other souvenirs.
Weinhaus says counterfeiters usually produce their product overseas and have ties to extensive criminal networks.
