Tampa, Fl.(Florida News Network)-One person was injured after a boat fire in the seaplane basin of the Peter O. Knight Airport in Tampa, Monday. Tampa Fire Rescue report the thirty foot boat was fully involved in flames when crews arrived. The boat appeared to have been moored in the basin but broke away as a result of the fire. Two people on board the boat were able to escape and make it to shore at the Davis Island Boat Ramp. One person suffered injuries and was taken to Tampa General Hospital for treatment, the second person on board was not injured. The fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
