Hillsborough County Administrator Mike Merrill joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the curfew change & why it's important to wear a face mask when out in public.
The curfew, which was put into motion Monday, was nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
However, during the Hillsborough Emergency Policy Group meeting Thursday, they felt they had acted too quickly by putting the extreme curfew into effect.
There is now no curfew, but a safer-at-home order is still in place.
