Tom Hanks announced on Twitter and Instagram last night that he and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in Australia.
In Hank's post, he explains how they felt like they had a cold and were extremely tired.
According to USA TODAY, "The Oscar-winning actor has been in Australia for pre-production on Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley film, in which he'll play Presley's manager Colonel Tom Parker. Production has been halted."
Hanks and his wife will remain in isolation and continue to be tested for as long as public health and safety need them to be.
