Julie Marcus, Chief Deputy of Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections, joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss the 2020 Florida Democratic Primary.

What can voters do to Get Election Ready:

  • Visit VotePinellas.com
  • Check registration status – (What does Closed Primary mean?)
  • Know where your polling place is
  • What do you need to bring to the polls? (voter information card is not necessary, but photo and signature ID is)
  • Know what’s on the ballot
  • Check to make sure your address on file is current

If you want to Early Vote here is the info:

Early Voting: March 7-15, 2020

  • Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday-Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Voters may not cast more than one ballot. So if the voter voted for a candidate who has suspended his/her campaign, the vote will still count for that candidate.
  • None of the candidates have officially withdrawn from the contest (Deadline was December 9), so all their names will appear on the ballot. A vote for any candidate on the ballot will be counted for that candidate.
