Over the years, dating has changed drastically, especially with the rise of dating apps.
There is a dating app for pretty much for every type of interest you could think of, and that means new ways to get with someone or break it off have formed.
According to the New York Post, these are four terms that describe the dating scene in 2020:
Fleabagging:To serially date people who just aren’t good for you.
Dial-Toning: To get somebody’s number, reach out, and never get a reply.
White Clawing: To date someone exclusively for their good looks.
Caspering:To ghost someone but offer an explanation for it.
