Maiken Stefany Director of Operations for Children’s Gasparilla and Shamus Warren of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla joined AM Tampa Bay to discuss Children’s Gasparilla is happening this Saturday, January 18th, at 3:30 pm.

- The Children’s Gasparilla Parade is an alcohol-free event creating anengaging experience for all who attend.
- Event day begins with Bicycle Rodeo which is free to anyone interested inlearning how to bicycle safely with traffic.
- A reimagined piratechnics display incorporating the Jose Gasparilla
- Both a daytime and nighttime Air Invasion, featuring a parachute jump by the Special Operations Command’s (SOCOM) Parachute Demonstration Team, the Para-Commandos, vintage aircraft including the P-40 Warhawk “American Dream,” and aerobatic routines expertly performed by the Lima Lima Flight Team.

WWE® Superstar The Big Show® will serve as Grand Marshal for the 2020 Ashley HomeStore Children’s Gasparilla presented by Chick-fil-A Tampa Bay.
As Grand Marshal and Community Hero, both The Big Show and Markel will lead more than 100 parade floats, krewes, marching bands, dance units, school organizations and community groups down a one-and-a-half-mile route along Tampa’s famed Bayshore Boulevard.
