Spring Hill, Fla.(NewsRadio WFLA)- A driver loses control of her vehicle and crashes a popular Springhill lunch spot!
The FHP says 65 year old Barbara Markowski of Springhill was heading east on Springhill Dive when suddenly she lost control of her Saturn Ion.
The car ran up over the center median, shot across the westbound lanes, plowed through a flower bed, sideswiped a Ford pick-up pulling a trailer, all before running into the front window of Beef O Brady's restaurant.
Kistin Boggs of Inverness says she was enjoying lunch with a friend, when she noticed something out of the corner of her eye, just before being knocked about eight feet!
Boggs wrist was fractured, her friend, 68 year old Nancy Nelson of Rock Falls, Illinois remains in the hospital. Three other patrons suffered minor injuries.
The FHP says what caused Mrkowski to crash is still under investigation.
