Bradenton, Fla. (Newsradio WFLA) - A motorcycle rider died when he crashed his bike into a tree Friday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The 39-year-old man from Bradenton, whose name the FHP had not released Saturday morning, failed to negotiate a curve on 9th Street West and crashed into the tree at about 9:15 p.m. After the rider dismounted from the bike, it crashed into a parked car, according to a crash report from the FHP. Troopers had not determined if alcohol played a role in the crash.
