Wesley Chapel, Fla. (NewsRadio WFLA) -Pasco Fire and Rescue crews responded to reports of smoke in Wesley Chapel High School around 10am.
According to Corey Dierdorff the Public Information Officer for Pasco County Fire Rescue, all students were evacuated. There was heavy smoke in the band room. It appears the smoke was caused by a faulty heat strip in the school.
The school was cleared of smoke, and the students are currently in the media center. No injuries reported.
